Glasslock Oven Safe Round 0.7 Cups Review: Small but Mighty

When it comes to kitchen storage, bigger isn’t always better. The Glasslock Oven Safe Round 0.7 cups container proves that small can be mighty. This compact glass bowl is perfect for storing dressings, dips, sauces, and single servings. In this review, we’ll explore its features, durability, and why it deserves a spot in your cupboard.

Glasslock is known for its high-quality tempered glass containers that are oven safe and leakproof. The 0.7 cups round container is no exception. It’s part of a versatile line that includes larger options like the Glasslock Oven Safe Round 6pc set, but this mini size has unique advantages for portion control and on-the-go use.

Design and Build Quality

The Glasslock Oven Safe Round 0.7 cups container features the same durable tempered glass construction as its larger siblings. The glass is thick and sturdy, resistant to thermal shock from -40°F to 500°F. The lid is made of BPA-free plastic with a silicone seal that creates an airtight, leakproof closure. The round shape is easy to clean and stackable.

The container is compact, measuring about 3 inches in diameter and 2 inches in height. It fits comfortably in lunch bags or small lunch boxes. The clear glass lets you see contents at a glance, and the lid snaps on securely with four locking tabs. The design is minimalist and functional, typical of Glasslock products.

• Tempered glass for durability and oven safety
• Leakproof silicone seal lid
• BPA-free plastic lid
• Stackable design saves space

Performance and Versatility

The 0.7 cups size is ideal for condiments, salad dressings, dips, or small portions of leftovers. You can use it for meal prep to store overnight oats, chia pudding, or nuts. The container is oven safe up to 500°F (without lid), so you can use it for baking small dishes like individual soufflés or molten lava cakes. It’s also microwave safe for reheating.

I tested the leakproof claim by filling it with olive oil and shaking it vigorously. No leaks occurred. The silicone seal creates a tight barrier. The container is easy to hand wash or place on the top rack of a dishwasher. Over months of use, the glass remained clear without scratches, and the lid stayed snug.

• Oven safe up to 500°F (lid off)
• Microwave and dishwasher safe
• Leakproof for liquids
• Perfect for dressings, dips, and small portions

Comparison with Other Glasslock Sizes

While the 0.7 cups container is a specialty size, Glasslock offers a range of round containers. The Glasslock Oven Safe Round 6pc set includes multiple sizes for varied needs. The 0.7 cups is the smallest, great for single servings. Larger round containers are better for meal prep or storing leftovers. The square and rectangle shapes, like those in the Glasslock Oven Safe Square 6pc set, maximize fridge space.

If you often pack lunches or need portion control, the 0.7 cups container is a valuable addition. It pairs well with other Glasslock products. For example, you can use it alongside the Glasslock Oven Safe Rectangle 6pc set for a complete meal prep system. The lids are interchangeable within the same shape series, so you can mix and match.

• Smallest round size: 0.7 cups
• Part of a modular system with interchangeable lids
• Ideal for portion control and on-the-go
